Dispatch the week's work
A drag-and-drop day planner for your crews
Every task that needs a day waits in one Unscheduled list. Drag it onto the day it should happen, pick who's doing it, and the whole team sees the plan. When weather or an inspection moves things, drag the work to a new day — one task or a dozen at once.

From the queue to the crew
One board for deciding who does what, and when.
Queue
Tasks that need a day land in the Unscheduled list — ones your team creates and ones the construction schedule, permits, and POs create.
Schedule & assign
Drop a task on a day. The first time, Ardovia asks who's doing it — scheduling and assigning are one decision.
Adjust
Weather or a slipped inspection? Drag tasks to new days, or select several and move them together.
Get it done
Assignees see the work on their task list and calendar. Finished tasks turn green on the board.
Scheduling and assigning are one decision
The first time a task is placed on a day, Ardovia doesn't just drop it there. A Schedule & Assign dialog asks who's doing the work — required — and lets you add a due date. Confirm and it's all set at once; cancel and the task stays in the queue. After that, drags just move it.
- Assignee picked as the task is scheduled
- Optional due date in the same step
- Cancel leaves the task unscheduled
- Scheduling is recorded in the task's history

Everything a dispatcher needs on the card
Each card shows the task, its status or due date, the job or lead, who's assigned, and the city. A green edge means done; amber means it's waiting on approval. Click it to change the status, scheduled day, due date, or assignee without leaving the board.
- Status, dates, and assignee editable in place
- Address opens in Google Maps
- Open Task jumps to the full record
- Completed and pending-approval work stands out

Rain day? Move the whole day in one step
Switch on Select Multiple, pick the cards, and use the action bar: unschedule them, move them to a specific day, or push them forward a set number of days. Moving forward skips the days your organization has switched off, so nothing lands on a Sunday by accident.
- Unschedule, Move to Day, or Increment by Days
- Skips the days you don't work
- Tasks still needing an assignee are scheduled one at a time
- Send work back to Unscheduled anytime

Focus on one crew without losing the queue
Filter the board by task type, priority, assignee, approver, or creator. Filter Scope lets you apply the filters to scheduled work only and keep the whole Unscheduled list visible — exactly what you want when you're handing work from one person to another.
- Five filters, staged and applied together
- Separate scope for scheduled and unscheduled tasks
- A badge shows how many filters are on
- Hide Completed to see only what's left

Set your working days and who can dispatch
Choose which days of the week appear on the board and which task types belong there. Dispatch has its own permissions: show a user every task at their locations or only their own, and decide separately who can actually move and assign work.

Drag-and-drop board
An Unscheduled sidebar beside a week or month grid. Drag onto a day, between days, or back — the order within a day is kept.
Schedule & Assign
The first time a task is placed, pick the assignee (and optionally a due date) in the same step. Cancel and it stays unscheduled.
Task panel
Click a card to change status, scheduled day, due date, or assignee, open the address in Google Maps, or jump to the full task.
Bulk moves
Select Multiple to unschedule, move to a day, or push work forward a set number of days — skipping your days off.
Schedule filters
Filter by task type, priority, assignee, approver, and creator — and choose whether filters apply to scheduled work, the unscheduled queue, or both.
Your working days
Switch weekdays on or off for the whole organization, and choose which task types belong on the board.
Its own permissions
View all tasks or only assigned ones, and a separate Schedule & Manage Tasks permission for who can move work. Without it, the board is read-only.
Fed by your workflows
Construction phases, permits, and purchase orders create their own tasks, and construction tasks arrive already placed on the right day.
On the calendar too
Every scheduled task also appears on the Ardovia calendar as an all-day item next to that day's events.
Dispatch works with Tasks, the Construction Scheduler, and the Calendar.
Frequently asked questions
What is Ardovia Dispatch?
Dispatch is a drag-and-drop day planner for your team's tasks. Tasks that need a day sit in an Unscheduled list; a dispatcher drags each one onto the day it should happen and assigns who's doing it. It has week and month views and its own permissions.
Where do the tasks on the board come from?
Some are created by your team. Many are created by Ardovia's own workflows — the construction schedule, permits, and purchase orders — when their work reaches that point. Tasks from the construction schedule arrive already placed on a day (the phase's start date by default), and they move when the schedule moves.
Does Dispatch create recurring tasks?
No. Dispatch places tasks that already exist onto days; it never generates tasks on a repeating cadence. Ardovia has no recurring tasks. Tasks are created by people or by the module that owns the work, such as the construction schedule.
Does scheduling a task change its due date?
No. The scheduled day is when the work is planned; the due date is when it must be done, and moving a task on the board never changes the due date. The first time a task is scheduled, you can optionally set a due date in the Schedule & Assign step.
Who can move tasks on the board?
Dispatch has its own permission group. View All Tasks shows everything at a user's locations, and View Assigned Tasks shows only tasks they're assigned to or dispatching. Moving, scheduling, assigning, or editing from the board requires Schedule & Manage Tasks; without it the board is read-only.
Can I hide weekends?
Yes. Settings → Tasks → Dispatch has a switch for each day of the week. Turning a day off removes that column from the board, and Increment by Days skips it when moving work forward.
Does Dispatch work on a phone?
Yes. In a phone browser the board shows the week, the Unscheduled list becomes a collapsible section, and you reschedule from a task's card instead of dragging.
Ready to dispatch with confidence?
Put every task on the right day with the right person — and move the plan in seconds when the week changes.
